What is the food distribution?
Passing The Bread food distribution is a once a month food giveaway to all people in need.
When is the distribution?
The food distribution is the last Saturday of every month and starts at 9am and ends at 11am. Note: If the last Saturday falls on a holiday weekend the distribution will be held the Saturday before.
Where is the distribution held?
The food distribution is held at the Distribution Center in Zimmerman at 26833 5th Street West. To get there; from the lights on Fremont Avenue, go north on County Road 45 just 1/2 mile, turn left on to 5th Street West. The center is in the same building as UMA Precision Machining - Just look for the North Entrance - our sign is on the exterior door.
What do I need to bring with me?
We serve people from zip codes 55398 and 55371. You could bring your own grocery container, for example, a laundry basket, reusable shopping bags, or other containers work well for this.
What happens when I get there?
You will be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers. Then you will be asked to complete a short registration form.
Does this cost anything?
There is no charge for the distribution and is made possible by generous Zimmerman and Princeton area community members, businesses, private donors, fundraisers, and grant awards.
